ACF Masters Games
NCEF Cornerstone - ACF Masters Games
The ACF Masters Games cornerstone of the National Competitions & Events Framework (NCEF) represents a bold and values-driven commitment to lifelong participation in calisthenics. Building on ACF’s longstanding involvement in the Pan Pacific Masters Games and similar initiatives, this cornerstone is more than a competition stream—it’s a celebration of continuity, community, and the enduring joy of performance. It recognises that calisthenics is not just a sport for the young, but a lifelong passion that evolves with us, offering space for reconnection, rediscovery, and intergenerational inspiration.
Each Masters event under this cornerstone is designed with inclusivity at its heart, welcoming State Teams, Club Teams, and Individual Competitors to participate in ways that are meaningful, accessible, and empowering. Whether returning to the stage after years away or continuing a lifelong journey in the sport, Masters participants bring a richness of experience, camaraderie, and spirit that elevates every event. The cornerstone also fosters intergenerational celebration, where performers, coaches, and supporters of all ages come together—sharing stories, skills, and the sheer joy of being part of something bigger.
By embedding the Masters Games into the national framework, ACF ensures that this vibrant and growing sector of our community is not only recognised but actively nurtured. It’s a space where legacy meets possibility—and where every performance is a testament to the enduring magic of calisthenics.

Australian Masters Games
The ACF will be proudly represented at the Australian Masters Games, launching a dedicated national-level competition for Masters soloists, duos, and trios. This landmark inclusion marks a powerful affirmation of ACF’s commitment to lifelong participation, visibility, and celebration of calisthenics at every age and stage.
Held 17–18 October 2025 in Canberra, the inaugural event will not only showcase the artistry and athleticism of Masters competitors—it will also trial Clubs and Rods solos and duos, expanding the repertoire and creating new avenues for expression, challenge, and joy. These additions reflect ACF’s ongoing dedication to evolving with its community, offering meaningful opportunities for performers to reconnect with the sport, reignite their passion, and share their skills in inspiring new formats.
For ACF, this moment is more than a competition—it’s a cultural milestone. It honours the legacy of those who’ve shaped calisthenics over decades, while opening the door for continued engagement, intergenerational connection, and vibrant community spirit. The Masters Games platform amplifies the voices and talents of seasoned performers, reinforcing that calisthenics is a lifelong journey of movement, creativity, and belonging.
