Looking Ahead to 2026

Delivering the next phase of Elevate 28! together

2026 marks an important transition year for the Australian Calisthenic Federation — moving from planning into delivery.

Following a year of foundational work under the Elevate 28! Strategic Plan, the focus in 2026 shifts toward embedding systems, supporting Member States, and delivering key initiatives that strengthen the sport nationally.

Delivering National Opportunities

National events continue to play an important role in uniting the calisthenics community and providing meaningful participation pathways.

In 2026, the ACF will deliver:

  • The ACF Senior Club Carnival 2026 — the first national event for senior club teams held under the ACF banner. This event is the pilot for the Club Competition cornerstone and is designed as a biennial event, with a long-term vision to expand across additional age groups.

  • Pan Pacific Masters Games 2026 — a major international Masters event, with solo competition joining teams, duos and gracefuls for the first time.

These events sit within a broader national competition framework designed to provide clarity, purpose and consistency across all national competitions.

Supporting Member States and the Sport

Beyond events, 2026 will continue to focus on strengthening how the sport is supported.

Key areas of emphasis include:

  • Supporting Member States through clearer governance, policy and planning frameworks

  • Continuing the rollout of the ACF database and RevSport integration, in consultation with states

  • Progressing program and pathway review work to support evidence-based decision-making

  • Improving consistency, communication and alignment across the sport

This work reflects the Stabilise horizon of Elevate 28! — ensuring systems, structures and processes are embedded and working effectively.

Leadership and Capability

2026 also marks an important leadership transition, with Natalie Wallace commencing as Chair of the Australian Calisthenic Federation.

With a strong understanding of the organisation and its strategic direction, Natalie’s appointment supports continuity as the ACF moves into this next phase of delivery.

Alongside this, the ACF will continue to focus on strengthening its operational capability, ensuring the organisation is well positioned to support Member States, national programs and events in a sustainable way as priorities evolve.

Looking Forward

2026 is a year about momentum — turning planning into action and ensuring the foundations laid in recent years translate into meaningful outcomes for the calisthenics community.

As the year unfolds, further updates will be shared as key initiatives progress.
