The Australian Calisthenics Federation Board has several sub-committees which each focus on specific areas to enhance overall governance, risk mitigation, and integrity.
As the National Sporting Organisation (NSO) of Calisthenics in Australia, the ACF work closely with the Australian Sports Commission and Sports Integrity Australia to ensure compliance is met.
Chair – Teresa Santoro
The Finance, Audit & Risk Committee provides oversight of ACF’s financial management, internal controls, and risk framework. It supports the integrity of financial reporting and ensures the organisation meets its compliance and governance obligations.
Chair – Kerry Sargent
The Rules Committee is responsible for the development, review, and consistent application of technical and administrative rules governing ACF competitions. It ensures rules are clear, equitable, and aligned with the evolving needs of the sport.
Kerry is Chair of the ACF Rules Review Committee, bringing decades of calisthenics governance, competition framework, rules and policy expertise to the rule committee.
Her collaborative facilitation, risk-focused oversight and deep sector knowledge have driven cohesive, sustainable rule outcomes for the ACF. She combines academic rigour with hands-on leadership to build consensus nationally and sustainably.
As committee Chair she is committed to guiding transparent consultation, evidence-led decision making, and alignment with integrity and safeguarding standards, delivering clear updates and practical implementation pathways.
As a member of the ACF Rules Committee, Megan brings a multi-dimensional understanding of calisthenics rules, officiating, and competition delivery. Her experience across coaching, examining, adjudicating, and national competition environments provides a well-rounded perspective on rule development and application.
With a strong foundation in governance and operational systems, Megan contributes a practical, implementation-focused lens. In her role as National Operations Manager, she supports alignment between rules, competition delivery, and broader organisational frameworks, bridging the gap between policy intent and real-world execution.
She is committed to strengthening clarity, consistency, and transparency in rule frameworks, supporting fair and sustainable outcomes for the sport.
Karen has been an adjudicator since 1989, working across National, State, Regional, and Metropolitan levels, and has represented South Australia on multiple national rules reviews.
As Head of Adjudicating, she is committed to ensuring that rules are clear, consistent, and nationally aligned. Karen has recently supported RSSS competitions to adapt their rules while remaining in line with ACF standards.
With decades of coaching, mentoring, and leadership experience, along with Life Memberships of ACF, CASA and ASCA and the 2016 ACF Official of the Year award, she brings deep practical and adjudicating insight to the Rules Committee.
Diane has been involved in calisthenics since the age of four, progressing to coaching, examining and adjudicating.
She is an Advanced Level Two Adjudicator with extensive team officiating experience across metropolitan and regional competitions in South Australia and interstate.
As a Gold Medal Examiner and Level Two coach she views calisthenics from broad national perspectives, strengthening her commitment to the sport. ACF Life Member and recipient of CASA Official of the Year 2018, ACF Official of the Year 2007 and the Australian Sports Medal 2000, Diane has served as ACF Director of Skills, Examiners Convenor and is ACF Head of Skills.
Jessica brings extensive coaching and governance experience to the ACF Rules Committee, underpinned by more than 30 years involvement in calisthenics.
She is Director and Principal Coach of River City Cali Dance Studio in Brisbane and a long-standing delegate of the Calisthenics Association of Queensland.
Her experience provides a strong coaching lens on rule development and application, ensuring rules are practical, clearly understood, and effective across club and competition environments.
Jess is committed to supporting inclusive, consistent, and fit-for-purpose rule frameworks that reflect the evolving needs of the calisthenics community.
Karen is an experienced coach and adjudicator with over five decades in calisthenics. She brings deep competitive insight from representing South Australia six times and coaching state teams to national success, including multiple championship aggregates.
Her background as a long‑time principal coach and stage manager informs fair, practical rule interpretation and adjudication. Karen combines governance experience, teaching, and operational knowledge to support clear, consistent rule application and mentor emerging officials, strengthening standards and integrity across Australian calisthenics and promoting excellence, safety, and participant development nationwide consistently.
Karen brings extensive experience across coaching, adjudicating, and examining to the ACF Rules Committee, alongside longstanding leadership in rules and governance within Western Australia.
As Chairperson of Rules & Regulations in WA for many years, and a former President of Calisthenics Coaches WA, Karen offers deep expertise in rule development, interpretation, and application. Her experience ensures a strong focus on consistency, clarity, and integrity within rule frameworks.
An ACF Life Member and recipient of the 2015 ACF Coach of the Year, Karen is highly respected within the calisthenics community and is committed to supporting fair, practical, and sustainable outcomes for the sport.
Lillian is an active Level 1 Coach with over a decade experience participating in the sport. She began coaching in 2021 and brings a current and practical perspective to her work with the Rules Committee.
She has coached across all age groups, with a focus on Juniors and Intermediates, and is currently Principal Coach of the Evatt Calisthenics Club Intermediates team. Lillian has coached solos at all levels, was an Assistant Coach for the ACT Junior State Team at the AusCaliCarnivale in 2025, and has served as the ACT Delegate on the ACF Coaching Committee since 2024.
She has a strong practical understanding of applying rules and enjoys supporting coaches to use them with confidence and creativity.

The National Integrity & Compliance Committee supports the ACF in upholding the highest standards of integrity, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance across the sport. It provides oversight and guidance on integrity frameworks, policies, and risk management, ensuring a safe, fair, and accountable environment for all participants and stakeholders.

The Diversity & Inclusion Committee provides leadership and guidance to ensure ACF programs and initiatives are inclusive, accessible, and reflective of the diverse calisthenics community. It supports the development and implementation of strategies that promote equity and participation across the sport.
Chair – Kerry Sargent
The Nominations Committee supports the Board in ensuring the right mix of skills, experience, and diversity across director appointments and succession planning. It provides structured, transparent processes for identifying and recommending candidates to strengthen Board capability.
Chair – Danae McGregor
The IDEA Panel is a flexible, expert advisory group that supports ACF through innovation, problem-solving, and strategic insight. It provides targeted advice on emerging initiatives, helping the organisation respond to challenges and explore new opportunities.
